Official Press Release

Pheonix, AZ – Rude Dude Productions announced today that Steve Rude is reducing prices across the board on his original artwork.

Steve's wife, Jaynelle Rude, has been working 65-70 hour work weeks outside of her duties with Rude Dude Productions while taking care of their two small children so Steve can concentrate on finishing up the latest Nexus series. She has been doing contract work that allowed her to work at home, but the job is coming to an end and her hours have abruptly dropped to less than 20 a week.

Steve Rude is discounting most all the artwork in his online store (www.steverude.com/store) and is willing to negotiate prices so Rude Dude can stay afloat until the first cash flow comes in August.

"We only have to make it until San Diego, " said Jaynelle. "Then the income from the books will start coming in, so this offer will definitely not last. If you have anything that you've had your eye on, now is definitely the time to make an offer on it. We're willing to consider all reasonable offers. Email us as steve@steverude.com."

Space Opera Act 1 was nominated by the Diamond Purchasing Team as a hot pick for the May 2007 previews for items shipping in July, and Space Opera Act 2 is a hot pick for June 2007 for items shipping in August.

Rude Dude also announced that they will be selling a few of the preview ashcans to help fund the printing. Those may be purchased at www.rudedudeproductions.com/presale while supplies last for only $10.

Nexus 99: Space Opera, Act 1 due out in July can be previewed on Comic Space: www.comicspace.com/Steve_Rude.
