This summer, the biggest, most exciting criminal heist is happening right here in the pages of Marvel Comics' Super-Villain Team-Up/M.O.D.O.K's 11 #1. As the "head" of Marvel's most unusual and most-wanted group of villains ever assembled, M.O.D.O.K. has tasked his comrades with acquiring such power that the big M will never have to worry ever again. Of course, the best laid plans of mice, men and M.O.D.O.K.'s rarely go as hoped, and the villain finds himself in a race with the rest of the Marvel Universe villains to gain this ultimate prize! Writer Fred Van Lente and artist Francis Portela, along with cover artist Eric Powell, bring you a comic in the Mighty Marvel tradition of fun, fun and more fun!

"Super-Villain Team Up/M.O.D.O.K's 11 is something I don't think the Marvel Universe has ever had: a heist caper," Van Lente explained. "But of course, since this is the Marvel Universe, our band of B- and Z-list villains aren't knocking over a bank or a casino-- but the impenetrable fortress of an incredibly powerful cabal of temporal cartographers from the end of time to steal a weapon that has the power to destroy all life on Earth as we know it ... and which all the other villains in the Marvel U can't wait to get their hands on.

"It's almost its own unique genre: 'supercrime.'

"Plus, of course, I love to give some really underutilized characters like Puma, The Spot, and yes, even M.O.D.O.K., their time to shine, so it's been a lot of fun for me in that sense as well."

This July, getting in is the easy part…but getting out alive with the prize intact? That's what's gonna make Super-Villain Team-Up/M.O.D.O.K's 11 the can't-miss super-villain team-up of the year!
