Today, the staff of Comic Book Resources joins the rest of America in celebrating our Independence Day holiday in the only way we know possible - by staying out of the heat, BBQing up plenty of hot dogs and enjoying a brew or two. Never fear, though, as we'll be back to full force again on Thursday with columns, news and all that jazz.

While you're relaxing at home with a bloody mary, why not pop on over to the CBR Forums and join the discussion! We encourage posting while under the influence, just as long as it's done safely.

But where should I begin, you ask? That's easy - your best place to start is probably CBR's Community Forum, one of the most active message boards on CBR where pretty much anything goes. Of course, we have message boards devoted to the world's of Marvel and DC Comics, as well as one to discuss your favorite Television shows and Movies ("Transformers" discussion anyone?) and much more. Registration is free and since we installed the new forums server two weeks ago, activity has been on the rise, so if you're new go ahead and join one of the most active and friendly communities on the 'net.

Happy July 4th, everybody!
