Last Friday saw curtain close on Vertigo's "Y: The Last Man" at Y: The Last Party, a special gala event hosted by Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles and benefiting the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Jointly organized by Meltdown and MySpace Comic Books, the party was a who's who in the L.A. comics scene (and special guests from other cities as well), with attendees including Mark Waid, Grant Morrison, Geoff Johns, "Lost" executive producer Damon Lindeloff, keynote speaker Joss Whedon and many more.

CBR's Emmett Furey turned in this full report from Y: The Last Party, and CBR staff photographer Pinguino Kolb took all the wonderful pictures. When you're done checking out this great photo parade, be sure to stop by CBR's Community forum to discuss Y: The Last Party.

Zuni: "Pia, look, I love 'Y: The Last Man," but I noticed I didn't get as much panel time as the rest of the cast. What's up with that?" Everybody say, "Awwwwwwwww."
