Some of Hollywood's biggest stars will join in the fun at Comic-Con International, August 1 – 4, 2002 at the San Diego Convention Center. This is the largest comic book, film, television, science fiction, and popular arts event in the world.

On Monday the folks at Comic-Con confirmed that in addition to the previews and behind the scenes sneak peaks at new Hollywood movies, some of Hollywood's "A" list stars plan to make appearances.

"We're very excited about the turn-out this year," said David Glanzer, spokesperson for the non-profit event, "from Hillary Swank, to Seann William Scott, to Lucy Lui, to Colin Farrel, the list of movie stars is amazing, and that's just a partial list." He continued. "And each year we get a number of surprise guests as well. We won't know who until the show."

A non profit educational organization. Comic-Con International holds seminars, workshops and panel discussions on all aspects of the popular arts including film and television.
