WATCHMEN

This weekend's New York Comic-Con brought forth a bevy of news this weekend, including these shots of movie-based action figures from IGN.

Comic Related has a continuation of their set report discussing what was seen on the Zack Snyder-helmed production.

INCREDIBLE HULK

The big green guy made a big impact at NYCC, including a full panel report from CBR News, video interviews with actor Tim Roth and director Louis Leterrier over at IGN, another interview with Leterrier, producers Gail Anne Hurd and Kevin Feige from Superhero Hype and some new production stills from the cover story in Empire Magazine (bigger look at the 3-D cover at Superhero Hype strangely enough). Whew!

HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY

Comingsoon.net talked to director Guillermo del Toro who confirmed that "Family Guy" creator Seth Macfarlane will replace Thomas Kretschmann as the voice of Johann Kraus.

The viral site Hetfet.org has gone live, and if you click the secret device and input 7, 11 and 8 from left to right, you might get a surprise.

The sequel shared the spotlight with Mark Millar's "Wanted" at the Universal Pictures panel from this weekend, which was covered by CBR News.

Finally, CHUD has a look at the new poster by Drew Struzan.

JUSTICE LEAGUE

CHUD has a rumor from producer Joel Silver that the project has fallen apart, saying it has been "tabled."

THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE

CBR News also covered the NYCC panel for the sequel.

THE DARK KNIGHT

What sort of email did Lt. Jim Gordon send out for to fans as part of the viral campaign? Superhero Hype has the text.

The campaign also included a call from the Gotham Voters' Survey, which was also recounted to Superhero Hype as well.

SILVER SURFER

Spin off? Actor Doug Jones is quoted at Sci Fi Wire as having no news. "I don't have any information that you haven't read on the Internet," Jones said. "As it stands with a franchise-type character like that, I did sign a three-picture deal, so I have two more pictures where they have the option to use me, and I hope they do. I've heard the same rumors about ['Babylon 5' creator] J. Michael Straczynski writing a script, and I hope that's true. Let's hope we see the Silver Surfer in his own movie real soon."

WE3

According to Newsarama, creator Grant Morrison said that a live action adaptation was forthcoming which would use CGI animals. "Yeah it's the real!" he said. He said that he wrote the screenplay for it two years ago, and there was a bunch of scenes we had to cut from the comics that found their way back in the film. Morrison said that the film has been with New Line Cinema for a couple of years and that it's being slowed down by New Line's woes, but that We3 is still "a really big deal on their slate" and "they've been through like 16 directors but they're looking for the guy" who can really bring the feel of the comic to the screen.

THE SPIRIT

Ain't It Cool News has a first look at the poster for the Gabriel Macht-helmed movie, while Yahoo! Movies has a first look at the Eva Mendes-specific poster promoting the picture. The teaser trailer is online at MTV in QuickTime and Flash.

WONDER WOMAN

Joel Silver told IESB that he was still working on the beleaguered Themisciran project, with screenwriters Matthew Jennison and Brent Strickland (the ones who did a World War 2 version of the story purchased by Warner Brothers) working on a draft.

THE CASTING COUCH

We can't do this without you. The rumors, the scoops, the set photos -- they're all fueled by passionate fans emailing in the goods. The ones who ask, "What do you mean your sister's dating somebody who works for Warner Brothers?" The ones who know the code names of movie projects and scour city permit filings for them. The devoted, the involved. Fans, just like you. Whatever you know, we wanna know, and whether you want your name shouted to the web's rafters or kept closer than a classified report, we've got you covered like a comforter. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu saying thank you for your time and indulgence, and [tagline due to return with new WGA drafts Thursday].
