USC alumni Michael Ausiello may be standing between his new job at Entertainment Weekly and his old job at TV Guide, but that doesn't stop him from posting new news at his own website, like the casting update noting that "Battlestar Galactica" actor Sam Witwer will join the show as Doomsday (seriously) and that actress Cassidy Freeman will take over Lex Luthor's interests as Tess.
TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN
There's a new rumor at the Transformers Movie Blog about the custom motorcycles allegedly being built to become the Autobot Arcee. Again, since director Michael Bay intentionally said that he would spread misinformation about the sequel, all rumors are viewed with considerable suspicion.

Meanwhile, Yahoo! Movies has more clips on line.
Actor Terence Stamp told MTV that he'd be in favor of joining a sequel. "I play a character who's called Pekwarsky," Stamp said. "He's an enigmatic character who doesn't feature a lot in the first one, but it's something that's written for a sequel."
THE DARK KNIGHT

Actor Anthony Michael Hall can finally talk about his role in the film, and did so with Sci Fi Wire. "I took a meeting with [director Christopher Nolan and his wife, producer Emma Thomas], and they gave me this part," Hall said. "I actually came in and read for another part initially, and then I got that role of Mike Engel. Because of this Comcast tie-in we did that's online now, I guess everybody knows. I had a non-disclosure agreement with the studio about not talking about it, but essentially it's now public knowledge. [For this] Comcast tie-in they basically created this Gotham City Network for six weeks, as if it's a real CNN. I play Gotham's sort of nighttime news anchor."
Also, CBR News has a full report on those cowls and stuff that got mailed out.
DVD Times reports that Universal will release the live action adaptation of the Osamu Tezuka manga project in the US on September 23rd.
SIN CITY 2

Film School Rejects has a rumored first look at a makeup test with Thomas Jane as the DC anti-hero.
IGN looks in on the development of the script. "We were advised that screenwriters Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer are currently penning their contractual rewrite of the first draft. The filmmakers are still talking to some directors but expect to engage more of them once they have a screenplay everyone is happy with. As much as all the elements involved want production to start sooner rather than later, we were told, they are committed to having a solid story set first."
