There's a new possibly spoilery rumor at CHUD claiming that a certain character will make a very different comeback in the sequel.


Acccording to Variety, Mark Crilley's Manga series is now in development by Paramount Pictures, with Brad Pitt producing. The studio has acquired the film rights to the Harper Collins series for Pitt's Plan B. Sera Gamble of 'Supernatural' and 'Project Greenlight' fame is set to pen the script.


Variety also reports that director Brett Ratner is taking his production shingle to Paramount Pictures, starting with a team-up alongside producer Alexandra Milchan on the Valiant Comics property.


Not Lucius Fox! Not Sloan! The report out of Memphis' WMC-TV, Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car accident Sunday night in north Mississippi. Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson Ben Williams said Freeman, 71, and a passenger, Demaris Meyer, were traveling eastbound on Mississippi Highway 32 in Tallahatchie County around 11:30pm when his vehicle went off the edge of the road. Freeman overcorrected, flipping the 1997 Nissan Maxima he was driving several times before coming to a rest. According to updates, "actor Morgan Freeman suffered some broken bones in a car accident Sunday, but will recover."
