Celebrated "Understanding Comics" author Scott McCloud has contributed to Google Chrome, the new open source web browser from Google. The nearly 40-page comics work features McCloud's famously accessible illustrations explaining by way of talking figures and descriptive diagrams the particulars of the next generation browser, ostensibly for the benefit of bloggers, journalists and other interested parties. The words are credited to Google's engineers, with McCloud credited for the "comics adaptation."
