"Parade (With Fireworks)"

The Eisner-nominated true story behind cartoonist Michael Cavallaro's family history is finally collected this November in a full color, deluxe revised & expanded tradepaperback!

"PARADE (WITH FIREWORKS) makes for the perfect Shadowline book in terms of not just its quality, but it's ability to stand out from anything else on the stands," said Shadowline Publisher Jim Valentino. "We couldn't be more proud of Michael and his achievement."

PARADE (WITH FIREWORKS) opens in 1923, as Italy is pulling itself from the wreckage of the first World War while unknowingly plummeting toward another. The nation seemed to be holding its breath, and the slightest perceived transgression could result in violence. On the evening of the Feast of the Epiphany, it did, causing one man to choose between political standing and his very own family.

PARADE (WITH FIREWORKS) TP (SEP082265), a 72-page full color deluxe tradepaperback for $12.99, will be in stores November 26th, 2008.
