Mel Gibson talks about comics from around the worlds and introduces you to the world of comic books, suggests titles and authors to read and shares her love of graphic novels with you. Mel has worked extensively with television and radio, promoting and enthusing about comics, graphic novels and manga, including the BBC4 series Comics Britannia. Come and join us Wednesday 22nd of October starting at 8pm. Tickets are £2 and are available from Hatfield library.

Dave Gibbons comes to talk about ‘Watchmen’, one of the most significant graphic novels of the past 20 years and soon to be released as a major motion picture. On 6th of November at Hatfield library starting at 7pm.Tickets are £2 and are available from Welwyn Garden City library.

Bryan Talbot visits Cheshunt library on the 10th of November at 8pm to talk about his multi —award winning work ‘A Tale of One Bad Rat’ a ground breaking book that showed the world that graphic novels are not all about superheroes. Tickets are £2 and are available from the library.
