THE MAN OF STEEL

Director Bryan Singer told MTV precious little about his possible return to the franchise. "At the moment I can't really talk about that," said Singer. "I wish I could. From my perspective I'm going to take a brief pause. ["Valkyrie"] has taken a long time so I'm going to take a pause. A movie like that takes some time to do right. That's all I can say about that."

Starring Brandon Routh, no release date announced.

DEADPOOL

Former Fox executive Jeff Katz talked to MTV about the upcoming "Wolverine" spin-off and hinted that a merc with a mouth might be in the realm of possibility. "The film nicely tees [Deadpool] off for his own spin-off film," said Katz.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, no release date announced.
