Official Press Release

Days before its on-sale date of March 12, the second issue of H-E-R-O has sold out at the publisher. This marks the second sell-out for this powerful new DC Universe series by Will Pfeifer and Kano.

"I'm thankful to all the readers and retailers who were willing to take a chance on a new series, especially one where we're trying to do something a little different with super-heroes," says Pfeifer. "In the first two issues, Kano and I spent some time getting to know Jerry and re-introducing the H-device, but in the next two, the pace really cranks up and things spiral out of control fast. If you think you know where H-E-R-O is heading, we've got a few surprises in store for you!"

"Now that the first issue has gone out to such strong acclaim, we expect to see increasing demand for the series," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales & Marketing. "We urge retailers to look at their orders for upcoming issues and send in any increases now."

DC has no plans to go back to press on the issue at this time.

H-E-R-O #3 (FEB030171) is solicited in the February issue of Previews (Volume XIII #2) and is scheduled to be in stores on April 16.

H-E-R-O #4 (MAR030213) is solicited in the March issue of Previews (Volume XIII #3) and is scheduled to be in stores on May 14.
