Dynamite unveils star-studded "Red Sonja Annual" line-up

Dynamite Entertainment today released images and information concerning the 2nd Red Sonja Annual, hitting store shelves this February!

This time out, the She-Devil with a Sword will be handled by writer Christos Gage and illustrated by the legendary industry veteran Pablo Marcos!

"We've been fortunate to work with Christos a handful of times on Sonja and for a full arc on The Man with No Name," commented Dynamite Associate Editor Joe Rybandt. "And each time he's delivered incredible work and always has a home here at Dynamite. Pairing him with the legendary Pablo Marcos for this Annual will thrill and delight fans both new and old!"

The Annual also features two covers, one by Marcos and the other a wrap-around by Joe Prado!

The second Red Sonja Annual is here! Presented by writer Christos Gage and veteran artist Pablo Marcos, Dynamite unveils "Here there be Dragons!"

Red Sonja is recruited by the wizard VERDIUS to act as his bodyguard on a quest to find the last nesting place of the dragons. These magnificent creatures were once plentiful, but have been hunted to near-extinction, with the massive Great Dragons lost forever, and the smaller ones nearly gone as well. Verdius wants to save those few that remain, and has just discovered where they gather to mate... as they travel, a rival wizard is battled and the fate of the magnificent beasts rests in Sonja's hands!
