The Los Angeles Times is reporting that actor Samuel L. Jackson may no longer play the role of Nick Fury. "There was a huge kind of negotiation that broke down," Jackson said. "I don't know. Maybe I won't be Nick Fury. Maybe somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won't be in it. There seems to be an economic crisis in the Marvel Comics world so [they're saying to me], 'We're not making that deal.'"

WATCHMEN
According to the Hollywood Reporter, a scheduled Tuesday court conference between Fox and Warner Bros. attorneys has been cancelled, fueling talk that a settlement in the contentious case is coming soon. A settlement could cost Warners tens of millions of dollars as Fox is reportedly asking for upfront fees as well as a percentage of the back-end.
