TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

MTV has posted a new video featurette ...

Directed by Michael Bay, release date: June 26, 2009.

IRON MAN 2

If it's too hard to get "The Wrestler," will a wrestler do? Rumors posted at Wrestlezone notes that Matt Morgan is in talks to square off against Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in the sequel after Mickey Rourke proved too expensive for Marvel, while also discussing getting monstrous for "Smallville" as a new incarnation of Doomsday.

Directed by Jon Favreau, release date: May 7, 2010.

SUPERMAN UNLEASHED

The email we got from Steve Younis was first, pointing out a report at Superman Homepage noting something from Production Weekly, while Slashfilm hacked into Legendary Pictures' website to discover this new working title and this synopsis: "Ramping up the action of its esteemed predecessor, the sequel to 'Superman Returns' promises to raise the stakes and take the audience to heights of action that no other superhero movie can achieve." Hm. "Sequel" implies that we'd likely see Brandon Routh again ... and maybe even Bryan Singer behind the camera.

No release date announced.

SMALLVILLE

Kryptonsite has the new official network description for the next new episode of the hit CW series.

Next episode, "Infamous," March 12, 2009.

WATCHMEN

Wanna see Nite Owl busting up some convicts? More of that at MTV as well.

Moreover, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan talked spoilers with Moviehole about getting funny as the Comedian.

Finally, CBR News spoke with director Zack Snyder about bringing the comics masterpiece to life.

Starring Carla Gugino, release date: March 6, 2009.

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

Director Edgar Wright promised "big news" on his website with Jason Schwartzman borrowing a look from Brandon Routh ... is that Kieran Culkin behind the Lara Croft image? Hard to say just what's happening there ...

To be released sometime this year, currently filming in Toronto.

STREET FIGHTER: LEGEND OF CHUN-LI

Actor Kristin Kreuk talked to Attack of the Show about kicking butt as the video game character and -- of course -- a little bit about Lana Lang.

Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, release date February 27, 2009.

THE DARK KNIGHT

Just two things, really.

The film? It's now the fourth -- in history -- to make a billion freaking dollars at the box office. Seriously.

Not enough? How about this, pal? Heath Ledger got the Oscar. Believe it.

Good work, gang.

KEEPING IT REEL

If you have the scoop on anything related to comic book movies, TV adaptations or just want to give us a truck full of cash, no questions asked, drop us a line and let's coordinate. You can choose an alias if you'd like, or be mentioned by name -- we honor requests for anonymity. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and The Hundred and Four is not on a boat like T-Pain and Adam Samberg, because some of them can't swim.
