NEIL GAIMAN AND STEPHEN COLBERT

Neil Gaiman on Colbert, for those who missed it. Probably should have linked this yesterday, but as guest host I wasn't entirely sure it fit the comics-to-film/TV mandate. But hey, it is one of our favorite comics guys on television, so enjoy.

h/t to Holden.

TRANSFORMERS 3

Via Hollywood Reporter, director Michael Bay says “Transformers 3” will hit July 4 weekend in 2012, not 2011, as was reported yesterday. No comment from Paramount, according to IESB.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is released June 24.

SUPERMAN/BATMAN: PUBLIC ENEMIES ANIMATED

CBR's Jeffrey Renaud interviews Jeph Loeb on the “Superman/Batman” animated film, which is based on Loeb's and Ed McGuinness's first story arc in the comic of the same name.

NO HEROICS

More casting news for ABC's “No Heroics.” Arielle Kebbel will play the female lead in the pilot, according to Hollywood Reporter. Paul Campbell and Eliza Coupe are also on board.

BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD

Over at Pulse, Jennifer Contino interviews John DiMaggio, the haughty voice of Aquaman on “Batman: the Brave and the Bold.”

Next episode, “Trials of the Demon,” airs Friday at 8:30 EST on Cartoon Network.

WOLVERINE ORIGINS

Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in “Wolverine: Origins,” has confirmed that the unknown mutant seen in the movie trailer is, in fact, his character. The confirmation comes in an MTV interview, and Comic Book Movie wraps everything together with the trailer that started the speculation.

TERMINATOR SALVATION

IGN is reporting that Linda Hamilton opens “Terminator Salvation” with a voice over, framing the film with a bit of Sarah Connor narration.

THE CASTING COUCH
