Written and illustrated by Doug TenNapel ("Creature Tech," "Monster Zoo"), the forthcoming “Ghostopolis” is the story of a man who works for the Supernatural Immigration Task Force, a fictional government agency tasked with sending ghosts who’ve escaped into our world back to Ghostopolis. When a living child is accidentally lost in Ghostopolis, Jackman’s character must team with a female ghost (and former flame) to bring the kid back.
The Hollywood Reporter has Jackman co-producing “Ghostopolis” through his Seed Productions company, which he runs with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and partner John Palermo.
TenNapel’s “Ghostopolis” will be published through Scholastic. No release date has been announced.
