Back in April, CBR brought you word of the return of Archaia Studios Press, best known as the publisher of the wildly popular and critically acclaimed “Mouse Guard” by David Petersen. In the article, Archaia heads PJ Bickett and Mark Smylie said the company was back on track, but stated that it was too early to discuss new series the company might publish. Today, Archaia Twitter followers received a very big clue as to what one of those new series might be.

Thursday afternoon, Archaia Director of Development Stephen Christy sent the following message and image out via his Twitter feed:

I guess I should post another clue to Archaia's next big announcement...

The message has since been deleted.

While heavily cropped, the image clearly spotlights Red Fraggle from the HBO series “Fraggle Rock” that ran from 1983 to 1987 and was produced by Jim Henson Productions.

When contacted by CBR News Thursday afternoon, Archaia Marketing Manager Mel Caylo said, “We have no comment at this time, but look for more news in two weeks.”

The “Fraggle Rock” characters have appeared in two comic series in the 1980s, published under Marvel Comics’ young readers imprint Star Comics.

More on this story as it develops.
