The day's biggest rumor is from CBR alumni Rich Johnston, who is claiming that "Flash Gordon" actor Brian Blessed has joined the cast as Odin.  

Directed by Kennethn Branagh, release date: May 20, 2011.

What else can we look at from back in the day?  Superhero Hype has the press release announcing Hasbro and Universal Pictures' commitment to bring the flexible muscleman to the silver screen, courtesy of producers Brian Glazer, Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, with a screenplay from Steve Ordekerk.

G.I. JOE: RISE OF COBRA
