HEROES

According to Herosite, filming on season four started Monday.

Next episode: fall 2009.

SPIDER-MAN, TURN OFF THE DARK

Actress Evan Rachel Wood told Sci Fi Wire that she's still missing an opposite number in the Broadway musical. "We're still looking for our Spider-Man, but it's going to be incredible," Wood said. "I just spoke with [director] Julie [Taymor] today, actually. It's going to be a crazy rock 'n' roll circus show. Julie's doing what she did with 'The Lion King' to this: She's just taking it to a whole 'nother level." She does note that the actor who'll play the Green Goblin is locked in, despite her reluctance to share the name.

Opening date: January 16, 2010.

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

Director Edgar Wright has posted a new set photo from the Oni Press production.

Starring Michael Cera and Chris Evans, release date: 2010.

Y: THE LAST MAN

Denied! Superhero Hype caught an issue of Wizard Magazine where actor Shia Lebeouf put to rest any ideas that he'd be Yorick Brown. "You take Sam [Witwicky] and you put a monkey on his shoulder," said LaBeouf, "I don't know if it's that big a differential. It seems like he's the ordinary guy in an extraordinary situation again. I'm not willing to make that movie currently, and may be too old to play the role by the time it does come around."

No release date announced.

IRON MAN 2

Marvel movie mogul Kevin Feige spoke with First Showing, giving up some slight spoilers on what to expect from a certain red-headed Russian. He also discussed "Thor," "Captain America" and "Avengers."

Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle, release date: May 7, 2010.
