Frank Frazetta Regains Right To Artwork, Settles All Claims

Frank Frazetta, one of the most influential American artists of the 20th-century, announced today that he has regained all rights to his artwork in the settlement of all claims with his publisher, Underwood Books.

Underwood Books, the publisher of Icon: A Retrospective by the Grand Master of Fantastic Art, Legacy: Paintings and Drawings of Frank Frazetta and Testament, the Life and Art of Frank Frazetta and Frank Frazetta satisfactorily resolved all issues between them. Both parties are pleased with the confidential settlement.

Icon, Legacy and Testament have been recently published by Underwood in paperback and are available in stores and through the Internet.

Mr. Frazetta was pleased to have resolved all issues with Underwood Books. "These books present some of my best work," stated Frazetta.

Having regained the rights to his artwork, Mr. Frazetta was asked about future endeavors. Frazetta revealed that he is negotiating with publishers on new books but could not reveal the status of the confidential negotiations.
