Official Press Release

Exemplifying their commitment to produce sophisticated, intelligent and entertaining science fiction, Archaia and Roddenberry Productions announced the remaining creative teams on Days Missing, a highly anticipated, five-issue, comic book mini-series debuting in August.

The talent line-up includes a buzz-worthy mix of industry veterans and notable up-and-comers who will each add their unique interpretation to the Days Missing universe. The previously announced creative team of writer Phil Hester and artist Frazer Irving on issue #1 will return to work on the last issue of the mini-series to provide a fitting bookend to the project.

Based on a concept by Roddenberry executive Trevor Roth, Days Missing tells the stories of a mysterious being known only as “The Steward.” His ability to literally “fold” days of time has allowed him to secretly remove critical days from our shared history that have forever changed the course of mankind.

“In the Roddenberry tradition of producing stories of a cerebral and substantive nature, our hero ‘The Steward’ goes on a legendary voyage that shapes the history of humanity,” said Roth. “We are thrilled to collaborate with a team of immensely talented artists and creators that will enliven this character and his historic adventures with their unique adaptations.”

“The scripts and artwork that have been produced for Days Missing have simply been amazing,” said Stephen Christy, Archaia’s Director of Development. “The fact that Archaia has been able to deliver such a great product for Days Missing excites us to no end.”

The complete list of teams is as follows:

Issue #1
Writer: Phil Hester (The Darkness)
Artist: Frazer Irving (Batman and Robin)

Issue #2
Writer: David Hine (Batman: Battle for the Cowl)
Artist: Chris Burnham (X-Men: Divided We Stand)

Issue #3
Writer: Ian Edginton (Stormwatch)
Artist: Lee Moder (Legion of Super-Heroes)

Issue #4
Writer: Matz (The Killer)
Artist: Hugo Petrus (Wolverine: First Class)

Issue #5
Writer: Phil Hester (Firebreather)
Artist: Frazer Irving (Azrael: Death’s Dark Knight)

Dale Keown (Pitt) will provide the key cover art for each issue. In addition, Irving and the interior artist of each issue will provide limited-edition covers.

In an effort to give as many readers an opportunity to discover this exciting new mini-series, the full-length, full-color issue #1 will be available for just 99 cents when it arrives in stores this August. Also, an exclusive, limited-edition Keown cover version for issue #1 will be on sale for $5 at the Archaia (#2635) and Roddenberry Productions (#2734) booths at San Diego Comic-Con (July 23-26).

A panel presentation featuring key members of the Days Missing team and a sneak peek of art and upcoming stories will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Room 3 at San Diego Comic-Con. For the latest information on Days Missing, please visit DaysMissing.com and Archaia.com.
