According to Box Office Mojo, the film has pushed back its release date from summer of next year to December 17th, 2010 . Hitfix followed up and got a comment from star Seth Rogen: "We're both relieved and psyched about the change. It gives more time for post, which would have been immensely rushed if we were to come out in the summer. It also affords us more time to promote the film, (now we can go to Comic-Con with more than a car!) and ultimately is a great vote of confidence from the studio. We got the same date that movies like 'I Am Legend' and 'Avatar' are getting, so we're thrilled to be there." While these sorts of slips are often a sign of no confidence from studios, moving it into the prestige picture season could be a blessing.
Directed by Michel Gondry, release date: December 17th, 2010

I'll hopefully do Swamp Thing, which is a movie we've had for a long time. We think that would be great to do in 3D," says Silver. Beyond his hope, there is no other information on the project at this time.

Considering this Twitter message from last Wednesday (spotted by MTV News), it would appear the time has passed for actress Rose McGowan to take on the sword and sandals. A number of "Conan" related projects are in development at the moment, including a "Thulsa Doom" spin-off. The fire was lit under "Red Sonja" when director Robert Rodriguez was set to make it with McGowan as his Sonja. He left the picture and a slew of others, in the end making the children's film "Shorts" and the upcoming "Grindhouse" spin-off "Machete."

Creator Todd McFarlane says the show is back. The animated "Spawn" ran on HBO late night for several years in the late 1990s. Surprisingly well-rendered and featuring the voice of actor Keith David as the titular Hellspawn, the show was admired by its fans. McFarlane says "legal issues" prevented the series from continuing. The series did feature "Angela," a character which was the subject of a prolonged conflict between McFarlane and writer Neil Gaiman over the rights to the character.
