According to Collider, the Hollywood adaptation is still a go. Writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby have been working on a draft of the script for some time. "From what I could gather, the movie is still a priority for the studio, and if the script meets with approval from key people, the movie could go into production in 2010 with a release date in 2011. Also, this isn't going to be some mid-range budget movie. If the film goes into production, it's going to be one of those BIG event movies," says Collider's Steve 'Frosty' Weintraub,

With filming under way, a bevy of set photos have already arrived. Superhero Hype, Crazy Critics, and celebrity candid photo site Just Jared have already captures a crate full of images from the film.

Both Latino Review and Superhero Hype point to a page in in this weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly in which the magazine claims "Pixar is said to already be eyeballing an Ant-Man movie." Both sites question the status of the film and the involvement of "Scott Pilgrim vs The World's" director Edgar Wright. Wright wrote a draft of the film several years ago and was set to direct. While EW's sentence of news leaves a great deal to learn, it does put "Ant Man" back in the consciousness.
