LOBO

Jeffrey Dean Morgan tells Superhero Hype, "I'll be elbowing somebody soon" in regards to taking on the part of the Main Man. Asked if he had interest in the part the actor said, "'Lobo' would be very cool. I don't think that I'm as big as Lobo is, but if you could, like, transplant Mickey Rourke's body on my head, that would be just great."

DEADPOOL

Producer Lauren Schuler-Donner tells IESB that Ryan Reynold's position as Green Lantern has not detered development of the "Deadpool" film. She tells IESB, "Not on my end, personally, not on my end, no. I think you can do different characters. Sylvain White updates Superhero Hype on the status of his next comic book inspired project, based on the Frank Miller DC Comics series. "I just got a new draft a week ago. It's looking really good and promising. I hope it gets to go... [It is] a big-budget, big blockbuster take on it. I'd love to do it in 3D. I think it'd be ridiculous and amazing," says White.

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

Collider spoke with Chris Evans about his work on the film. Evans praised director Edgar Wright. "I've never felt so secure with a director. He gets his days because, you know again, there's no fat. He's not working anything out in the day. He's done his homework. He's on-set like a machine and I've never seen producers give him so much…give a director so much freedom. They really let him do…they have so much confidence that he knows exactly what he wants and he does," says the actor.

Starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, release date: 2010

WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK

While many people braved Disney's D23 Expo for first looks at "Tron: Legacy" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," I took an easy-going weekend filled with light food and plenty of a/c. I'm refreshed and ready to hit the grindstone, but, as always, I could use a hand. If you discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya bracing for the future threat of Star Tours II.
