IRON MAN 2

Actress Scarlett Johansson tells Extra, "Hopefully, I won't be crucified for saying this, but I think the second one is even better." Meanwhile, director John Favreau and MTV News talk relationships in the film. The director says Tony and Pepper are still central.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., release date: May 7th, 2010

KICK-ASS

Superhero Hype got a brief update on the film from screenwriter Jane Goldman. According to Goldman, things are going great and a trailer is imminent. "I can't give you an exact date, but it will be very soon. It's being worked on right now," she says.

Release date: April 16th, 2010

WOLVERINE 2

Various sites are pointing to an interview with the first film's director, Gavin Hood, on Rotten Tomatoes. Though there his helming of the sequel is still considered uncertain, Hood says, "I'd be extremely interested and thrilled if they were to send it to me."

Starring Hugh Jackman, release date: 2012?

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

In that same Superhero Hype article, actor Jason Schwartzman reveals he has seen twenty minutes of the film. He says it is "unlike anything I've ever seen. I can't tell you much, but sort of beautiful; incredible." Meanwhile, Chris Evans tells MTV News that despite weeks of stunt training on a skateboard he "embarrassed myself miserably." He does say he pulled off stunt he did not expect to achieve. ""You can probably pick it out of the movie. It's just one big ollie... and I did it," says Evans

Starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, release date: 2010

THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO

When IFC (via Cinema Blend) asked if he has dream project, actor Nathan Fillion replied he would enjoy remaking "The Greatest American Hero." The early 1980s series followed a schoolteacher who is given a suit with special powers by aliens. Unfortunately, he loses the instruction manual and bumbles into heroics with abilities he barely understands. "I'd say it's largely the same idea, the same story, but the suit would be able to change and morph into whatever it is you needed him to do. So it could become armor, a scuba suit -- you could do that stuff," Fillion says of his imagined version. There is no deal in place, so feel free to start a campaign to get it going.

Release date: TBA
