Fans of the "Batman Beyond" and "X-Men: Evolution" cartoons have always maintained the shows were a cut above the rest. And now the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has backed them up, awarding the cartoons Daytime Emmy Awards at a ceremony last week.
"Batman Beyond" cartoon landed two Emmy awards, one for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program, the other for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition.
"X-Men: Evolution" took home one award, for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing - Special Class.
