THOR

Natalie Portman tells MTV News that actress Kat Dennings has joined the cast. Unfortunately, there is not much more detail than that ... but there is video:

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, release date: May 20th, 2011

NINJA ASSASSIN

More press for the film arrives as IESB interviews both director James McTeigue and producer Joel Silver. The Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex also interviewed the director, in which he is asked if a ninja can beat a vampire. He jokes, "Definitely. Hopefully.  Especially if he were up against one of the vampires from 'Twilight.'" Finally, Latino Review talks with the star of the film, Rain.

Starring Rain, release date: November 25th, 2009

THE CROW

io9.com spoke with producer Ryan Kavanaugh, who tells them "The script is great. We're very excited about it. 'The Crow' is definitely going to happen, we're just getting all the pieces together right now. It's not officially greenlit, but it's going to happen... I think in a couple months we could have the package together for sure."

Release date: TBA

JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS

Here at CBR, we have the trailer for the upcoming DC Animated film.

Release date: February 2010

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

Yet another close-up on eyes photo continued over at the blog of director Edgar Wright.

Starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, release date: 2010

THE HOBBIT

TheOneRing.net points to a story on inthenews.co.uk in which producer Peter Jackson talks about writing the prequel set of films. "It was an interesting experience because eight or nine years have passed since we wrote 'the Lord of the Rings' screenplays and I was worried it'd be weird or hard or uncomfortable to go back there, but as soon as we started writing the scripts it was fun, actually, and easy," says Jackson.

Release date: December 2011

COLD AND SINUS

While I continue to nurse a cough and other flu-like symptoms, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya bracing for the future threat of a doctor's visit.
