NINJA ASSASSIN

Some reviews are rolling in for the film. Ain't It Cool News calls it "boring" despite a strong opening. Mania.com thinks a lot more of the film saying, "is a lean movie that blasts forward on the strength of its stylized, high-octane mayhem to deliver a shot of adrenaline to the heart. In that it succeeds wildly." Meanwhile, Collider has a another interview with producer Joel Silver and a video interview with director James McTeigue:

Starring Rain, release date: Today!

THOR

Variety confirms Natalie Portman's comments from the other day. Kat Dennings will play "Darcy, who works with Natalie Portman's Jane Foster character."

HUMAN TARGET

As we here at CBR reported yesterday, the show will follow "American Idol" on Wednesdays at 9:00 pm from January 20. This is a vote of confidence from the Network, which has used the post-"Idol" spot to launch such shows as "House" and "Bones."

THANKSGIVING EVE

I'm still a little under the weather, but boy am I looking foward to some old fashioned American gluttony tomorrow. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya bracing for the future threat of a turkey coma.
