THE LOSERS

It's been awhile since we've heard about this film, but with a release just a few months away, Entertainment Tonight will provide the first footage from the film tonight. Luckily, an old friend pointed to a video of ET's tease for tonight's episode:

Starring Jeffey Dean Morgan, release date: April 16th, 2010

KICK-ASS

Here at CBR, we interviewed "Kick-Ass" Aaron Johnson. Yes, I'm aware that sentence is perilously close to the pun. The actor talked about playing the character, working with the director, and sticking with the comic. "Mark Millar and Matthew really kind of created the end of the comic. I think Mark Millar had a different ending for the comic, but they've pulled together to make it work for the comic and the movie," says Johnson. Meanwhile, Empire has posted two images from its upcoming feature in the print-version of the magazine.

Starring Nicholas Cage, release date: April 16th, 2010

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

Release date announced! Director Edgar Wright posted to his Twitter feed the following: "In answer to your many questions...I can confirm a North American release of August 13th and an UK release of 6th August." Superhero Hype and various other sites are posting updates from Universal also confirming the August 13th US release date.

Starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, release date: August 13th 2010

COWBOYS & ALIENS

Deadline Hollywood confirms Daniel Craig has closed his deal and will star in the film.

Release date: TBA

GREEN LANTERN

Cosmic Book News has grabbed more of that "Green Lantern" concept art, this time featuring a Guardian of the Universe. I'm still unsure of these images are the real deal, but they certainly look good.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, release date: June 17th, 2011

TRON: LEGACY

Latino Review points to this video on YouTube with music that may or may not be Daft Punk and may or may not be from the film. Either way, it's a pretty enjoyable ten minutes of music.

Starring Jeff Bridges, release date: December 17th, 2010

CAPE

NBC has picked up a pilot called "Cape" according to The Hollywood Reporter. They say the pilot is "set in a fictionalized version of Los Angeles," and "centers on a former cop framed for a crime who becomes the Cape, a masked hero, to clear his name and reunite with his son." The characterize the series concept as a light drama.

Release date: TBA

RAINWATER WEEKEND

Cue that Loverboy track and get me a Rainwa--wait, we still haven't perfected the Rainwater Martini. Due to a major blunder in planning on my part, our trial of the Rainwater Martini recipe didn't happen because nobody bought gin. We also had a late suggestion of putting "something blue" in the mix and going with rainwater as clean. The initial idea was to go with a variation of the Dirty Martini. We will crack this recipe yet. Also, I did see "Street Trash" and can confirm there is one exploding hobo. The film is quite bad, but also quite enjoyable. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, just plain weird, or spot Mysterio up to his usual hi-jinks this weekend, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya bracing for the future threat of what will happen if I never get the Rainwater Martini right.
