What kinds of green constructs test pilot Hal Jordan dreams up to fight the darkest evil of the galaxy in Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment's "Green Lantern" may remain in doubt, but one thing is for sure for the 2011 superhero film: it will hit screens in 3 Dimensions.

A Warner Brothers representative has confirmed for CBR that Martin Campbell's "Green Lantern" will bow in 3D in 2011. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Mark Strong, the action film based on the classic (and currently chart-topping) "Green Lantern" series begins filming shortly in New Orleans. As CBR reporter earlier today, it appears as though test shooting will soon be underway for the film, though more details about cast, plot and how the movie will tie in with a proposed "Justice League" picture remain unconfirmed.
