F.A.C.T.S. Convention Welcomes Fantasy Artist Anne Stokes

After the previous announcements of artists Frank Cho (Shanna, Liberty Meadows, Ultimates), Dave Gibbons (Watchmen, Martha Washington), famed cartoonist Lectrr and Brandon Peterson (Ultimate Vision, Medieval Spawn/Witchblade, Strange, Mystic) to our 20th anniversary show in Gent, Belgium, we are now pleased to introduce fantasy artist Anne Stokes as a guest of our venue.

Anne Stokes has worked as a freelance illustrator and produced art for many clients in the games industry, including illustrations for Wizards of the Coast's Dungeon and Dragons rule books and miniatures.

"It is just a thrill to have the F (Fantasy) in F.A.C.T.S. envisioned in such a renowned fantasy artist as UK-based Anne Stokes", said Emmanuel van Melkebeke, F.A.C.T.S. Convention Director. "Her imagery of dragons and especially gothic fairies are haunting!"

Many more guests, including actrices and actors, are still to be announced.

F.A.C.T.S Comicon is the signature pop culture event of the Benelux, presenting guests and programming to cater for the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, TV, and gaming industries.

Entering its 20th anniversary year, F.A.C.T.S. is expected to draw over 14,000+ attendees to its October 23-24, 2010 convention held at the Gent Flanders Expo Convention Center located in Gent, Belgium.

The show will sport 12,000 square meters and will host over a mile of dealers of toys, comics, movie merchandise, fantasy merchandise, manga and will see 400+ cosplayers and an entire fan-village, as well as loads of surprises, to brighten up the already amazing venue!
