When the Marvel Studios panel hits Comic-Con International's Hall H this Saturday, the buzz of the room may be focused on potential cast members for the upcoming "Avengers" film, but in the meantime, the studio is priming the pump with a steady stream of teases from its very next superhero blockbuster. As Spinoff Online reported, today's LA Times carries a brand new picture from director Kenneth Branagh's adaptaion of "Thor" – this time of the Hall of Asgard with the titular thunder god (Chris Hemsworth) bowing down to his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins).
Also included in the picture are key gods Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Frigga (Rene Russo) on the left and two of the so-called "Warriors Three" on the right including Hogun (Tadanobu Asano) and Fandral (Joshua Dallas) but not yet Volstagg (Ray Stevenson).
"Thor" opens in theaters on May 6, 2011. For more on Marvel Studios' plans for Comic-Con and all the news from CCI, keep it locked to CBR and Spinoff Online.
