Covering Bruce Wayne's "Road Home"

Though their initial announcement was heralded by a ominous bat-graphic set to overshadow the entire world of Gotham, the actual covers for DC Comics upcoming "Bruce Wayne: The Road Home" series of one-shots carry a bit more individual flavor. But in the hands of artist Shane Davis, the front of the books featuring everyone from Damian Wayne to Catwoman to Batgirl and beyond also link up to make one massive image.

As revealed on DC's official The Source blog, Davis prepped one massive image which ultimately proved taller than the artist himself to bring the entire project under one banner. The final results being:

The one-shots feature the work of Adam Beechen, Fabian Nicieza, Mike Barr, Pere Perez, Ramon Bachs, Marc Andreyko, Cliff Richards, Bryan Q. Miller and more. For more on Davis' work, check The Source.

Of course, not to unleash all their art in one fell swoop, DC soon added another upcoming Batman image – this time the cover to Grant Morrison's "Batman Inc." #1 by series interior artist Yanick Paquette featuring the return of Bruce Wayne's yellow Bat-symbol branding:
