Robert Rodriguez is still debating whether or not he will direct the film. "It's a great script and a great property," he tells The Los Angeles Times. "I'm just working everything out." The Times notes he has a choice of three films, including the sequel to "Sin City." I'll mention "Madman" is still on his roster as well.

According to Heat Vision, television director Seith Mann is set to direct and adaptation of the Humanoids graphic novel. They describe it as centering on "Nola, a white femme fatale who grew up an impoverished orphan, and stylin’ Slim, a smooth-talking Harlem pimp with gambling troubles. The unlikely interracial pair partner as murderers-for-hire." I read this several years ago and really enjoyed it.

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS
As we reported here at CBR, yet more casting announcements are coming in as Deadline reveals January Jones is in talks to play Emma Frost and Zoe Kravitz joins as Angel. Wait, she's playing Angel? "At the same time, director Matthew Vaughn has set Zoe Kravitz to play Angel," writes Deadline's Mike Fleming. Um ... okay. I thought Angel had boy-parts in addition to wings.
