DEADPOOL

Robert Rodriguez is still debating whether or not he will direct the film. "It's a great script and a great property," he tells The Los Angeles Times. "I'm just working everything out." The Times notes he has a choice of three films, including the sequel to "Sin City." I'll mention "Madman" is still on his roster as well.

Release date: TBA

GREEN LANTERN

In a rare non-Comic Book Movie "Green Lantern" item, Maggie Gyllenhaal talks with MTV News about her husband Peter Sarsgaard's look in the film:

Wait, she's in "Nanny McPhee Returns"?

Starring Ryan Reynolds, release date: June 17th, 2011

MISS: BETTER LIVING THROUGH CRIME

According to Heat Vision, television director Seith Mann is set to direct and adaptation of the Humanoids graphic novel. They describe it as centering on "Nola, a white femme fatale who grew up an impoverished orphan, and stylin’ Slim, a smooth-talking Harlem pimp with gambling troubles. The unlikely interracial pair partner as murderers-for-hire." I read this several years ago and really enjoyed it.

Release date: TBA

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

As we reported here at CBR, yet more casting announcements are coming in as Deadline reveals January Jones is in talks to play Emma Frost and Zoe Kravitz joins as Angel. Wait, she's playing Angel? "At the same time, director Matthew Vaughn has set Zoe Kravitz to play Angel," writes Deadline's Mike Fleming. Um ... okay. I thought Angel had boy-parts in addition to wings.

Release date: June 3rd, 2011

THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN

Empire has video from Movie-Con III of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost talking about working with Steven Spielberg on the film:

Directed by Steven Spielberg, release date: December 23, 2011

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER

Joss Whedon tells Ed Gross about his contribution to the film as a script doctor. "The structure of the thing was really tight and I loved it, but there were a couple of opportunities to find his voice a little bit — and some of the other characters — and make the connections so that you understood exactly why he wanted to be who he wanted to be. And progressing through the script to flesh it out a little bit." Meanwhile, Heyuguys.co.uk have video of the USO set:

Starring Chris Evans, release date: July 22nd, 2011

THOR

Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the film, tells MTV News about the impressive sets:

Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: May 6th, 2011

ON ANOTHER ADVENTURE

So, with most of my errands squared away and Ferelden united under Alaistar and Anora in "Dragon Age," I'm off on another assignment. As you read this, I'll be in traffic, making my way to the airport. At some point, I'll tell you about these assignments. They're really quite cool. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, ready for the future threat of I-105.
