Official Press Release

[Andy Hallet]Ohio's longest running and most popular comic book and pop culture festival, Mid-Ohio-Con, is proud to announce that, by popular demand, Andy Hallett will once again host a special karaoke party in The Club at the Hilton Columbus on Saturday night, November 29th. Andy Hallett stars as "Lorne", now in charge of Wolfram & Hart's Entertainment Division, on the hit WB TV series "Angel". This special event is open to everyone 21 and older with a minimum cover charge donation of $5 that will benefit The American Diabetes Association. While supplies last, everyone making a cover charge donation of $10 or more, will also receive a special The Matrix: Revolutions T-shirt, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. Last year's party drew a standing room only crowd, who helped raise several thousand dollars for The American Diabetes Association and this year it promises to be even bigger! The event will run from 7pm to midnight.

This special event is sponsored by The Hilton Columbus & Mid-Ohio-Con, with special thanks to the outstanding support and talent of Andy Hallett. November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. To learn more about Diabetes, visit The American Diabetes Association's web site at, www.diabetes.org.

Mid-Ohio-Con will be Saturday and Sunday, November 29 & 30, at the Hilton Columbus-Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. Thousands of fans and collectors from all across the US, Canada and Europe will gather to meet over 130 celebrity guests, shop for their favorite comic books and pop culture collectibles and enjoy related programming, all weekend long.
