While talking with The Telegraph about all of the ups and downs that put him off acting, Mark Ruffalo briefly discusses how he will become the Hulk. "There's this algorithm that digitally puts 2,000lbs of muscle onto my body. It's weird. I wear this skinny little suit with reflective balls all over it," says the actor. "When we shot the stuff, I was actually standing in a warehouse with a couple of cardboard boxes and some foam mats. But when I looked at the monitor there I was as the Hulk in this landscape with cars and boulders and hills." Ah, the wonders of motion capture.
Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody, release date: May 4th, 2012
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
If you saw Christian Bale at the Oscars on Sunday and wondered about his beard, The Los Angeles Times Hero Complex blog has the answer. "I'm in the middle of filming a movie in China," the actor explained; the film is Zhang Yimou's "The 13 Women of Nanjing." After that, the beard comes off and the Batsuit goes on. "When I finish the movie in China," said Bale, "It's straight to Batman. Much more Batman." He should be happy though, this third outing is presumably his last.

According to Heat Vision, Brazilian director Jose Padilha is in talks to direct the remake of the 1987 Paul Verhoeven classic. "The film could act as the Hollywood debut for Padilha, whom the town has been high on since 2007's 'Elite Squad.' The helmer was attached to direct 'The Sigma Protocol,' an adaptation of a Robert Ludlum novel, but has since moved on. His 'Elite Squad 2' recently became the highest-grossing film in Brazil's box office history, surpassing even Hollywood fare," they write. This remake is a priority for MGM, slating it for an $80 Million budget.

As our pals at Spinoff Online reported yesterday, "Battlestar Galactica" alum Katee Sackhoff may be in line for a part on the show. Shortly before the greenlight for the pilot was announced, the actress posted the following to Twitter: "Already met on #powers last year! I love it! I’ve just been waiting for a green light to go after it!" While she was responding to a question, the timing is interesting. Keep in mind there is still a casting and contract process that needs to happen, but Sackhoff is uncannily right for the part of Deena Pilgrim.

LOCKE & KEY
While talking with MTV News, creators Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez confirm the casting of Ksenia Solo. "Ksenia Solo will play Dodge, as 'The Lady in The Well,' and after seeing her dressed like the character, I can tell you that she will look breathtaking in both a sexy and creepy way," says Rodriguez. "She's awesome — very creepy, very striking. I don't think there's any chance they're going to ask her to play a guy," adds Hill, referring to Dodge's variable gender. The pair also discuss the casting of Jesse McCartney. "Initially I had my doubts, not knowing anything about him except that he had a music career," Hill explains. "My concern only lasted until I saw him work, though. I watched him perform a couple scenes and was not just impressed, but kind of rattled by how well he brings off Tyler. Jesse has depth and gravity and a kind of sweet, bruised innocence that really captures what I was after in the character."
Our old friend at Bleeding Cool points out this listing on Central Casting's Facebook page: "Looking for Super Buff, Worked out, Bodybuilder Type Guys to play soilders that appear to be on steroids for Wonder Woman. This will work at the end of march or beginning of April. Email bodyshots with all sizes and contact info to email@example.com. if you know someone not registered with Central Casting please let them know they can submit too!" If you happen to fit the requirements, try out. Shockingly, I don't have physique.
Here at CBR, we have a clip from Friday's episode, "Scion."
It seems my habit of calling every reboot and remake "Begins" until it gets an official title has finally inspired someone to go for it as a real name. Heat Vision reports that Channing Tatum, screenwriter Billy Ray and producer Joe Roth are part of a package deal for a film titled "Peter Pan Begins." While the premise is pretty easy to pick up, I have a hard time seeing Tatum in green tights. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of "The Black Cauldron Begins."
