Hot on the heels of those Tomar-Re shots from the other day comes an official poster featuring the Green Lantern of Sector 2813 (via Superhero Hype):
Meanwhile, various sites are pointing to this video of the extended TV spot that aired during "American Idol":
Starring Ryan Reynolds, release date: June 17th, 2011
Meanwhile, The Los Angeles Times Hero Complex profiles director Kenneth Branagh, who loved "Thor" comics as a child. "There was so much there, this hero with primitive brute strength and the dysfunctional family and always this sense of epic about it, the journeys and quests and vendettas," he says. Lastly -- as "Thor" news tends to come in threes -- we have a new photo gallery here at CBR, including this shot of the director looking oddly villainous:
Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: May 6th, 2011
DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT
I visited the New Orleans set of the film and my report is now avaialable at CBR. I talked to a number of the cast and crew during a day that saw star Brandon Routh face off against Brian Steele's Super Zombie. Go check it out! Meanwhile, MTV News has a clip from the film which takes Dylan to a special marketplace:
Release date: April 29th, 2011
A source tells Alien Prequel News (via Ain't It Cool News) that he's seen aliens on the set. "The alien heads were the same shape but no markings, only a plane bronze colour. As for the suits black boots and shoulder pads the rest was a Chelsea blue body suit could be for SFX, all the sets around the back of the bond stage have huge green chromokey maybe that's a clue," their source writes. "I have witnessed foam cut outs of unmistakable aliens all cut in half lengh [sic] ways so they could be in the floor walls etc and very much from the original film."
Directed by Ridley Scott, release date: 2012
Actor Eric Martsolf talks to CBR about playing Booster Gold. "It was easy for me to feel that he was just a flash-in-the-pan or a conceited ego maniac and a clown, essentially, in a suit... but that's not the case," he says. "The cool thing about the episode is that it really investigates the humanity of this guy Booster Gold. He's really more of a misunderstood man with some real hero potential to him rather than some superficial guy." We also have a sneak peak of the episode that features the time-traveler:
Lastly, TVLine has its own sneak peak ... of Lex's return to the show. "I really didn't want the day to end," says actor Michael Rosenbaum. "Once you're there, you always want more. Like, 'Oh c'mon, this is fun. Write something else!'"
Cue up some "Law & Order: SVU" and bring me some Nyquil, it's a weekend with Super Space Virus Z! I'll be taking it mostly easy this weekend. Well, except for the premiere of "Doctor Who" ... and an Easter get-together. Hopefully, I feel better tomorrow.
