DC Comics' promotion for its New 52 continues as the publisher revealed on its blog, The Source, that a free preview book of the upcoming new #1 issues, is scheduled to hit comic shops next Wednesday, July 20. "DC Comics - The New 52 #1" features cover art for every book, never-before-seen sketches, quotes from creative teams and a full 6-page preview of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's "Justice League #1." Copies will also be available throughout Comic Con International at San Diego at the DC Comics booth.

The announcement of "The New 52 #1" comes hot on the heels of this morning's surprising and spoiler-tastic "Green Lantern #1" cover art by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado featuring Sinestro in what appears to be the role of the headlining Lantern. That was just the latest in New 52 revelations this week, following October solicits for books in the Bat-family, The Dark and The Edge as well as announcements for James Robinson's "The Shade" with a rotating roster of artists, "Penguin: Pain and Prejudice" by Gregg Hurwitz with art and covers by "Spawn's" Szymon Kudranski and "The Huntress" by Paul Levitz with art by Marcus To and John Dell.
