Samuel L. Jackson tells BBC Newsbeat (via MTV News) that his role in the film is different from his previous Nick Fury appearances. "You don't have to wait until the end of the movie to see me. I'm actually around the whole movie and I do a lot more. I have action scenes and I actually do things to people in this movie," says the actor.

Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody, release date: May 4th, 2012

It seems the long planed Heinz Field scene will have the added assistance of the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "From what I've heard, it's going to be like a pre-game, warming-up type thing,'' says Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. "I don't know the whole concept. There's a Gotham team, a football game. We'll be wearing uniforms." Meanwhile, the lads at Comic Book Movie have heard a pretty spoilery rumor. Feel free to click through if you don't mind learning about the possible demise of a character featured in the film.

Release date: July 20th, 2012

Star Jason Momoa tells Crave Online that he has already written a sequel to the sword-and-sandal reboot. "It's character-adapted, because I really want to get into more of the mythical creatures," he says. "We wanted to go there [in the first one], but having 'Clash of the Titans,' and coming out against that, we wanted to put the budget into some other things ... I don't want to give anything away, but we already have our Conan, really it's about the villain, what that villain is going to extract from Conan, and where as an actor I want to go with Conan. You know, no one's going to know what I want to do better than me."

Release date: TBA

And in other far-off sequel news, Spinoff Online reported on Friday that Sony has already set a 2014 release date for the "Amazing" sequel. Personally, I'm kind of hoping they title it "The Spectacular Spider-Man."

Release date: May 2nd, 2014

According to (via Comic Book Movie), the streets of Plano, Illinois will see some real action at the end of the month. "They're going to be blowing stuff up," says Plano Area Chamber of Commerce representative Richard Healy. The articles also reports that soldiers will repel from helicopters and other exciting stuff. Keep in mind that Plano and the surrounding area is playing Smallville in the film, so it seems that little town will get it's fair share of destruction. I guess Metropolis deserved a break.

Directed by Zack Snyder, release date: June 14th 2013

The Tintin Fans Facebook Page spotted this new poster for the film:

Directed by Steven Spielberg, release date: December 23, 2011

Bleeding Cool reports that ABC president Paul Lee promised both "AKA Jessica Jones" and "The Incredible Hulk" would be ready for the next pilot season. Keep in mind that this just means they will have pilot scripts ready to shoot, but no series commitments.

Airdate: TBA

So I hid for a few days and it was fairly relaxing, but I still can't shake the lingering effects of the Con-Crud. The head-congestion just wants to stick around, I suppose.
