As CBR News reported previously, half a dozen skins will be available as pre-order bonuses for "Batman: Arkham City," allowing players to take on the look of their favorite iteration of the Caped Crusader when braving the insane streets of Arkham. Today, we learn that Robin, the Dark Knight's sidekick, will be receiving the bonus skin treatment as well.

The folks at Arkhamcity.co.uk have discovered three playable skins that will be included with Robin's Challenge Maps, which will be made available exclusively through Best Buy as a pre-order incentive. (The content will be available for download on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network shortly following the game's launch, however.) These three skins include the dark-hooded Robin that was first unveiled weeks ago, along with a special Red Robin costume and, much to the surprise of nostalgic fans, the outfit worn by Dick Grayson in "Batman: The Animated Series."

Though Robin will not be playable in "Batman: Arkham City's" campaign mode, he'll have plenty to do in his Challenge Maps, as he sneaks around and dispatches of enemies using items in his utility belt, his bo staff and his hand-to-hand combat skills.

"Batman: Arkham City" ships for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 18
