THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Movieweb has several photos from the Los Angeles shoot, including this one of Morgan Freeman:
The site claims his scenes involve the Tumblers getting stolen, which would explain all the vehicles roaming around Pittsburgh.

According to Comic Book Movie, Iron Man has arrived on set:
Well, at least his armor has. They also have video of Shellhead's motion-capture stunt double getting beat up by other mo-cap performers.

SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL
Russell Crowe continues his campaign of good will as this story from the Facebook community demonstrates: "So my Aunt was driving around today and was looking for directions. She saw someone walking on the street and she asked him for directions. He is not from this area so he couldn't help her. She thought he looked familiar and she had her camera with her so he said he could take his photo only if she was in the photo. Here is the photo."
It's nice to know he can interact with people and not throw phones at them.
Directed by Zack Snyder, release date: June 14th 2013
I haven't written much about the "Alien" quasi-prequel lately, but check out this image from the set (thank to Alien Prequel News):

IGN has further details on some of the special features accompanying the film's home video release. The full version of "Marvel One Shot: The Consultant" sees "Agent Coulson and Agent Sitwell of S.H.I.E.L.D. sitting in a diner in New Mexico discussing a directive from the World Security Council that directly affects the 'initiative.' It also gives us a new perspective on the pre-final-credits scene in The Incredible Hulk between Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and General Ross (William Hurt)." There is also a three minute "Road to 'The Avengers' clip featuring cast and crew discussing the superhero team-up.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, on DVD/Blu-ray: September 13th, 2011
X-MEN: FIRST CLASS
io9 has some footage I think we'd all like to watch: Jennifer Lawrence getting made up into Mystique. Of course, I can't embed the video here, but feel free to follow the link. The clip itself comes from the upcoming home video release of the "X-Men" prequel.
On DVD/Blu-ray: September 9th, 2011
THE BOY WHO LIVED
So, over the last year, I've been converted to "Harry Potter." While I enjoy the world, I still find some plot points odd, like the one pointed out in this "How It Should Have Ended" video (via Blastr):
Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of Pottermore.
