THE WOLVERINE

Hugh Jackman offers Collider a little insight into the scripting process of the film. "We had a script that was under Darren Aronofsky's directorial—it's 85 percent the same. Darren took it in a Darren Aronofsky way and it's a version I know fans would have liked to have seen – I would have loved to have seen it," he explains. "James Mangold's version of the script brought Mark Bomback on. We always had a strong base there. This is the best script we have had, which is precisely why Darren signed on." That seems a bit circular, doesn't it? But really, they've got a strong source and a killer premise: Wolverine vs. Japan.

Release date: 2012?

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Batman-News has video of the Batman getting chased by Gotham PD. Remember, it's still a movie:

Release date: July 20th, 2012

R.I.P.D.

The Daily Blam! spotted this Flickr album of set photos, including this one of mo-cap men waiting to doing their stuff:

Release date: June 28th, 2013

THE AVENGERS

The film's unofficial spokesman, Tom Hiddleston, tells Total Film who the toughest Avenger of the them all might be. "I think it comes down to his thunderous brother. No one is harder to fight than his brother because there's all that angst within him. Thor still comes out on top," he says. Sounds like a family bias to me.

Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody, release date: May 4th, 2012

GHOST RIDER 2: SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE

In this clip from G4's Attack of the Show, Idris Elba talks about his various roles and mentions that the "Ghost Rider" sequel brings "the comic book style to life."

Release date: February 17th, 2012

THE WALKING DEAD

Star Andrew Lincoln talks with The Daily Mail about the upcoming season. "Everything seems to be a compromise at the moment, and it's just about how good a compromise you can make," he says of surviving in the show's apocalyptic setting. "The fascinating thing about this group dynamic is that it's constantly changing ... In one episode, a person can be the villain and in the following episode they can be the savior."

Premieres: October 12th, 2011

HOLY APOLOGIES, BATMAN!

George Clooney has always been upfront and apologetic about his turn as the Caped Crusader, but recently he told Total Film a bit more about working on the production. "It was a difficult film to be good in. I don’t know what I could have done differently," he says. I suppose he could've turned the part down, but really, how do you say no to the Batman? If I was an actor, I know I wouldn't be able to decline, even if it were a remake of the early Batman serial movies from the 40s. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of a cheap cape and cowl.
