CONSTANTINE

Tonight's Access Hollywood will show a trailer for the new Keanu Reeves Vertigo thriller.

ELEKTRA

Hollywood North Report has a new set of photos from the Vancouver set of the Jennifer Garner-fueled action film.

BATMAN BEGINS

According to Superhero Hype, the Chicago Film office has announced that the Chris Nolan-directed film will be shooting in the city from July 31 until August 21. The office says that both Christian Bale and Michael Caine will be filming in Chicago at that time. In related news, UGO has an interview with Sam Register, Senior Vice President of Original Animation for Cartoon Network. He talked about ties between the new film and the new animated series. "Since Warner Brothers has a new Batman movie coming out, they wanted another animated series. There was a pitch that I wasn't interested in ... When they realized I didn't want it, I was asked what I would do. So that's when we came up with this cartoon from scratch. I wasn't allowed to read the script [to "Batman Begins"]. We were just told the boundaries like: 'Don't do that, it might be in the movie.' The things that are in common is that the animated show and the movie are going to be different from any other animated show or movie before it. I think both are a little bit earlier in Batman's career. I think that was just by accident because no one told us to do that. That's about all I know. There could be many similarities. We'll just have to wait until the movie comes out.

SMALLVILLE

Kryptonsite has fresh spoilers for the season finale "Covenant," which will air next week. As well, Devoted to Smallville has the new trailer (Windows Media only) and forty extremely spoilery screen captures as well.
