THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Variety's Jeff Sneider (via his Twitter page) says, "Expect to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES trailer in front of SHERLOCK HOLMES 2... And MAYBE even a HOBBIT teaser." Meanwhile, the TDKR Facebook Community quotes an interesting tidbit from director Christopher Nolan: "Our story picks up EIGHT years after The DARK Kinght[sic]." The quote presumably comes from the new issue of Empire, which also features Batman holding a new toy on one of its covers:

Good luck to whoever wins the part. You're going to need it.

TURKEY WEEK

After a fairly restful weekend (complete with some epically good meatloaf), I'm ready to attack Turkey Week. Which, I guess, just means more eating ... but that's good, too. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of a food coma.
