According to Heat Vision, "The Avengers" will have a 3D theatrical run. So expect at least a few shots of Cap's Sheild, Thor's Hammer, and Tony's scotch coming at you. Actually, director Joss Whedon tells JoBlo that the 3D aspect will not be obnoxious. "There's no,'Oh look, we're going to spend 20 minutes going through this tunnel because it's in 3D!' And no one is pointing at the screen the entire time," says Whedon. "But it's an action movie, things tend to hurtle toward the screen anyway." Hmm, where's Fozzy Bear and his cheap 3D yo-yo? We might have some work for him.
Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody, release date: May 4th, 2012
