THE WALKING DEAD

Comic Book Movie reports Aaron Muñoz and Raymond James have joined the cast of "The Walking Dead." Both actors will be playing new survivors who join Rick's band with less-than-noble intentions. Could this be a possible prelude to the Governor storyline?

New survivors aside, Spoiler TV has posted a TV Spot with some new footage for the upcoming midseason premiere, "Nebraska."

If still images are more your speed, ShockTilYouDrop has revealed four new images of the upcoming premiere. Be sure to click through for the full gallery.

New episodes air February 12 on AMC.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

A new plot synopsis posted on Comic Book Movie reveals a few new details about the upcoming reboot, although it isn't anything fans wouldn't be able to guess. Dr. Curt Connors (AKA The Lizard) works at Oscorp. The company opens up the possibility of Norman Osborn making an appearance, but the synopsis doesn't mention him. Check out the full text of the synopsis below.

"The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero."

THE CROW

Days after announcing all lawsuits had been settled out of court, Relativity has secured a new writer and director for "The Crow." According to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog, horror director F. Javier Gutierrez is attached to direct with "Eragon" writer Jesse Wigutow signed on to craft the script.

THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY

Andy Serkis shared his thoughts with the L.A. Times' Hero Complex about returning to play Gollum in Peter Jackson's upcoming "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."

"Gollum’s never really gone too far away from me because he’s indelibly kind of printed into my DNA now, I think. I’ll tell you what was weird is going back and playing a character that has been so sort of absorbed into public consciousness that you almost don’t feel like you own it anymore," Serkis told Hero Complex. "And to sort of gather it back -- I mean, I did feel, I think, probably in the first couple of days going back into it that I was sort of doing a weird impersonation of him rather than being him because there have been so many spoofs and people’s impersonations and so on, and some people’s impersonations are really great. And I’m kind of thinking, 'Oh gosh, that’s how to do it, yeah.' And you know, then you get back into it. … Meaningfully getting back into it was really exciting."

Opens December 14

MAN OF STEEL

Superman Homepage reports actor Jack Foley has been cast as Pete Ross. According to IMDB, Foley's one credited role is in "30 Minutes or Less" as "15 Year Old #2." Pete Ross's appearance in Zack Snyder's "Superman" reboot is not out of the realm of possibility, as actress Jaydin Gould was confirmed earlier this week as playing a young Lana Lang.

EVIL DEAD

According to a tweet from Variety's Jeff Sneider, Lily Collins is no longer attached to "The Evil Dead" reboot due to a scheduling issue. Collins was set to play Mia in the 2013 film and will be portraying Snow White in the upcoming "Mirror Mirror."

Y: THE LAST MAN

Zachary Levi spoke with Collider about the series finale of "Chuck," and the actor gave a much-needed update on the status of a "Y: The Last Man" flick -- though the news isn't good.

"That movie is in production limbo," Levi told Collider. "At least, every time I’ve checked on it, it’s in production limbo. Jeff Katz at New Line grabbed it, and then when Warner Bros. gobbled up New Line, so it’s just been sitting there. I don’t know. That’s a dream role."
