THE AVENGERS

Get a jump-start to your day with the full Super Bowl trailer of Earth's Mightiest Movie.

Comic Book Movie has posted some images of "Avengers" valentines -- because nothing says "I love you" like Captain America roaring with the rage of battle in his blood.

Remember Jenny Agutter? She plays a female council member in "The Avengers" -- and it was an interview with her that sparked the false Spider-Man cameo rumor. She's got another interview with Radio Times and spoke to life on set.

"It was so bizarre being on this big set in Santa Fe," the actress told Radio Times. "I said as much to the director Joss Whedon and he whispered, 'Shhh, I’m trying to appear cool.' Samuel L Jackson was lovely, so professional. Scarlett Johansson looked sad, so lonely, sitting on the steps of her Winnebago. One wanted to go and give her a hug and I thought, 'You can’t because you just don’t know her.'"

A new character poster featuring Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill has surfaced online (via Comic Book Movie). Check it out below.

Finally, if you live in India and want the chance to own Iron Man armor, Mid-Day.com reports Disney India will be auctioning off the film prop for charity at the end of April to coincide with Scarlett Johansson's promotional trip to India.

Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everybody. Opens May 4.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

Latino Review has posted an interview with director Marc Webb found in Comic-Con Magazine, where he spoke on the choice of Gwen Stacy over Mary Jane and the darker tone of the film.

"There’s this trickster quality we were very keen on exploring, with that humor and that fun and that wisecracking stuff," Webb told Comic-Con Magazine. "We wanted to keep that alive, but we wanted it to be realistic. We wanted that humor to come from a real place. My aim was to create a world where you could feel all those emotions. There are certainly darker, more intense feelings in this movie. There is betrayal, there is tragedy, but there’s also humor and romance. So it’s a very complex bouquet of emotions, but what you have to tread on is what feels authentic and what feels real, and you have to earn those different emotions. There are moments of furiousness and gravity, absolutely. But are there moments of humor and levity and whimsy? Absolutely. Andrew was really great. He used this term to describe Peter Parker in Spider-Man and Spider-Man in particular: he’s a trickster. He was like “How would Spider-Man web this guy? He’d give him a wedgy or he’d dos some awful graffiti.” There’s a punk rock quality to Peter Parker that’s really irreverent and fun and that’s something that Andrew embodies in a way that we haven’t seen before. Certainly the materials that have come out have a darker sentiment or there’s a darker projection, but we’re very keen on staying loyal to the humor of Spider-Man."

Plus, here's a few new images of Gwen Stacy, Peter and the Parker family courtesy of The Official Website. There are a number of new avatars and wallpapers available as well.

Opens July 3

AVATAR 2

Bleeding Cool has posted a very rough translation of an interview originally found on Bad Taste with Sigourney Weaver, where she discusses her possible role in an "Avatar" sequel. Bleeding Cool's translation of the actress' comments follows.

"I read early versions of the script, but I cannot say anything else James Cameron comes here and kills me. I can say that I’ll be in both, we will turn them one after another and explore worlds that were not touched in the first episode… What is certain is that Cameron will begin filming in the new Avatar only after going underwater in a submarine that will build special purpose. I think it should go up to the Mariana Trench. Having put his hand on the Titanic for the 3D version has given him many ideas for narrative Avatar."

JOHN CARTER

A new trailer for Disney's "John Carter" premiered during the Super Bowl.

Opens March 9

SKYFALL

MI6 HQ has posted a full gallery of still photos featuring Daniel Craig in Tower Hill filming a chase scene. Check out one of the images of Bond with his trusty Walther PPK below, then click through for the full gallery.

Opens November 9

GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE

Here's another Super Bowl tidbit -- a new trailer for the upcoming "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance."

Opens February 17

PROMETHEUS

EW.com has posted a new image of Noomi Rapace and Guy Pierce in space armor.

Opens June 8

BLADE RUNNER 2

TwitchFilm reports Harrison Ford is in talks to appear in Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" sequel. If the report is true, fans will finally get to see Richard Deckard back in action.

EVIL DEAD

Last week, Shiloh Fernandez was cast in the lead role of the "Evil Dead" remake. Now, Deadline reports Jane Levy is in talks to replace Lily Collins as the female lead of the upcoming film. Levy currently stars in the ABC comedy "Suburgatory."

AUDI, THE VAMPIRE-SLAYING CAR

In an unfortunate turn for those of us living in New England, the Giants defeated the Pats in last night's Super Bowl. However, there's always the ads to keep us going -- like this one, involving an Audi ruining a vampire party.
