AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

MTV has posted a whole slew of interview videos with "Amazing Spider-Man" star Andrew Garfield where he speaks to a number of topics including taking on the role of Peter Parker, the pressure of the portrayal, Gwen Stacy vs. Mary Jane and the debunked rumor of his possible "Avengers" cameo.

"I didn't get that call," he told MTV. "Maybe I just haven't been answering my phone."

Meanwhile, director Marc Webb spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the recent trailer release and his design and development for The Lizard.

"We spent a lot of time thinking about the biology of a lizard, and how his muscles work, and there’s an entire staff of people dedicated to making him look lifelike," Webb told THR. "It is an extraordinary task, and very, very difficult. It takes a lot of time, which a lot of people in this room can attest to."

Finally, here's a new promo image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man.

DARK KNIGHT RISES

While catching up with The Wrap about his Oscar nomination for "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," Gary Oldman detailed the gift he received after wrapping on "Dark Knight Rises."

"They gave me a very funny gift after my last shot on ['Dark Knight Rises,']" Oldman told The Wrap. "I was standing on a rooftop with Chris Nolan, and they gave me a shadow box, in this black frame. Inside it was my badge, my glasses and a mustache that they stick on the stuntmen. So they even retired my mustache. It was a lovely, funny little gift at the end of it all, and a lovely keepsake."

THE WALKING DEAD

USA Today interviewed "Walking Dead" cast member Norman Reedus on his character Daryl Dixon, one of the survivors in Rick's group.

"Originally, he was supposed to be this angry guy with a racist viewpoint who hated everybody, and you've seen him grow and become a better person. Maybe that has something to do with it," Reedus told USA Today. "Daryl is this guy who needs a hug, but if you try to hug him, he'll try to stab you. He doesn't want to talk about his feelings, but you can tell there's a lot of feelings bottled up."

Showrunner Glen Mazzara spoke with Vulture about Frank Darabont's departure from the show, reworking the series during the second season and his vision moving forward.

"I see it as a horror show, and that just means to me that it needs to be incredibly suspenseful," Mazzara told Vulture. "That suspense could come from interpersonal drama or it could come from the zombie scare of the week. I’ve really been trying -- and you’ll see in these next six episodes, but even in the midseason finale, which was the first final script that Frank did not touch -- I’ve been trying to amp up the intensity of the show. To make it feel less safe, more dangerous, more in your face, taking away any good options for the characters. Their backs are against the wall and they’re frightened. I’m trying to keep the show as immediate as possible, so that an audience member can imagine themselves in that situation, and wonder, 'What would I do?' That is something that I think I’m bringing to the show. Hopefully you can see that I’m trying to push people into new emotional territory."

AMC has also launched a new interactive "Walking Dead" game called Dead Reckoning, featuring original artwork detailing Shane's days before the zombie outbreak.

Currently airing on AMC.

ARROW

Variety reports "Blue Bloods" actor David Ramsey has been cast in the CW's Green Arrow pilot. Ramsey will play original character John Diggle, former military man working as a bodyguard for hire.

As reported by Spinoff Online CW head of development Thom Sherman shed some light on the upcoming tone of the series, implying it would have more in common with "The Bourne Identity" than "Smallville."

"He doesn’t have any superpowers, he's a very grounded character like a Jason Bourne -- we use the term 'mambo,'" Sherman said. "His skill-set is that he's an archer, but he also have physical strength and prowess. He's clever and able to devise ways of taking down a bad guy that are unique and fun to watch."

BLADE RUNNER 2

Director Ridley Scott spoke to EW.com about this week's debunked rumor of Harrison Ford considering involvement in the director's "Blade Runner" sequel. While the director didn't confirm or deny the possibility of Ford's future involvement, he did mention a bit of what's happening in development of the plot and script.

"We're still in discussions about whether it should be a prequel or sequel," Scott told EW. "It’s an interesting conversation. I’m meeting with writers and I've also gone back to [original Blade Runner screenwriter] Hampton Fancher and he still speaks the speak. He’s right there. I spoke with him this week. But we don’t even have a script yet."

THE BOURNE LEGACY

iTunes Trailers has posted the trailer for "The Bourne Legacy" starring Jeremy Renner. Featuring an original story in the universe of the Bourne films, the film also stars franchise newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac with Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprising their roles.
